Just as I expected from Novotel

Good location, near airport and a short taxi ride to Eindhoven.

Unfortunately the ‘system’ was down for rental bikes so I was unable to rent. This was disappointing given the fact it was €25 for a taxi to Eindhoven.

@ The hotel room was prepared with an extended sofa. Lots of space available - suitable for family with children. The shower room is separate from the toilet. The location is good - 10 minutes walk to the airport or the bus station.

It does not offer free transfer to the airport. It would have been more attractive to stay

The evening restaurant food was excellent, a very high standard

I wanted to leave a day early to get home by Friday but reception didn't allow me to cancel with a partial refund - I tried to cancel at 16:00 the day before but the rules say midday is the cut off point and rules are rules ( the price didn't include breakfast?

Booked room for 3 - at arrival extra bed was not ready Taking shower in bathtub, water could not run properly - we asked help, first answer was to wait till next day- we arrived late and next morning supposed to leave early. Needed extra call to have it fixed that evening

Kids playground was amazing

Unlike most Netherlands hotels, instead of closing at 5pm and offering nothing, they switched to a takeaway menu from the restaurant with full bar service. Staff were courteous and couldn’t do enough to help. Great location and easy parking on the ring road near the airport. A +++

As we have been traveling by car, it was good location just by the motorway with large parking area. Quick check-in and check-out process is always good at Novotel. As usual, it is value for money stay at Novotel.

It was bit pity but drain of the lavatory was choked. So water did not drain smoothly and need to wait for a while. Sofa bed and its sheets were not very clean but acceptable level. Bit noisy with other guests.

No easy public transportation nearby

Paying 9 eur for the parking I think it’s excessive. If you are a guest there it should be included in the price, which is not cheap. It’s not like you have other options either the hotel it’s in located nearby a big intersection with no places to park so I find it a bit too much

The road from the hotel to airport was dark and not useful to walk

Good beds. Clean. Friendly staff.

90s interior so bit outdated. Bathroom and toilet separate is impractical. Disposable plastic cups in bathroom is bad practice. One side of double bed doesn’t have socket outlet to charge telephone. Parking costs €9/d, very strange that this is not included in room price given location of hotel. Overall: too expensive for what this place offers.

Location was perfect for our needs and the food was very good.

Shower definitely needed additional attention for hygiene. (grime around the edges). Unexpected charges not mentioned on booking.com
